Candy stores and the like were nice growing up, but places like Britley's in West Bridgewater, Mass., bring sweetness to the next level with a colorful, mouthwatering wonderland of moist, made-from-scratch mini and jumbo cupcakes. The culinary creativity here is astounding with permanent and daily special flavors like key lime pie, Guinness, blueberry pie, chocolate butterscotch, chocolate chip cookie dough, trail mix, German chocolate, orange creamsicle, strawberry banana smoothie, red velvet with vanilla frosting, peanut butter cup, s'mores, Irish cream with Bailey's frosting, tiramisu and vanilla with strawberry filling and frosting. With a spotlessley clean store (there is limited seating) and other sweets like Cold Stone Creamery ice cream, whoopie pies, half moons, bleuberry and raspberry twists, lemon squares and canolis, the only downside to Britley's is that it isn't closer to home.
