Sandwich, Mass. (Cape
Cod)

Sandwich looks like the all-American
town with its tree-lined streets, and downtown with pretty churches,
well-kept homes, limited but pleasant shopping opportunities,
and an inviting library. Sandwich has another strong appeal:
it's located on beautiful Cape Cod, one of America's prime vacation
destinations. Right over the "gateway to Cape Cod,"
the Sagamore Bridge, Sandwich offers something for everyone from
the Sandwich Recreation Area's walking path along the scenic
Cape Cod Canal to a wonderful dinner (and lodging) at the Colonial-flavored
Daniel Webster Inn in the heart of Sandwich. Without traveling
too far into the elongated Cape Cod, Sandwich offers the best
of what this region has to offer, whether on land or water, with
