After an incredible, extended New England
Indian summer, a rush of cold weather recently hit the six state
region, hinting that the snow season is right around the corner.
Indeed it is, as our first snowfall graced the northern states
on October 23, 2002. Now that we know there is no turning back
to the days of summer for several more months, the logical step
would be to ski. New Hampshire offers some of the best skiing

Highlights: One of the oldest ski areas in New Hampshire, Cannon

Highlights: New England's Snowplay Resort offers more than just
skiing and riding. Plenty of "snowtoys" are available

Highlights: Last year marked the installation of the state's
first high speed detachable six-seater chairlift, five new trails,
