BRATTLEBORO OUTING CLUB
The BOC Ski Hut is run by the Brattleboro Outing Club. They provide

The Burke Cross Country Center offers over 80 kilometers

CATAMOUNT TRAIL The Catamount
Trail (CT) runs through the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains

HAZEN'S NOTCH ASSOCIATION
Located at the top of Vermont in the "Covered Bridge Town"
of Montgomery near the Jay Peak Resort, Hazen's Notch is on the
western edge of the beautiful, uncrowded and snowy Northeast
Kingdom. 70 km of groomed and marked trails pass through mixed
maple, birch and evergreen forest and across gentle, open meadows.
There are spectacular views of Hazen's Notch and numerous peaks
over 3,000 ft. in elevation in the Jay Peak range and the Cold
Hollow Range of the Green Mountains which completely encircle
the trail system. 30 trails for all abilities provide loops of

HIGHLAND LODGE AND SKI TOURING
CENTER Greensboro's Highland Lodge in the snowy Northeast
Kingdom celebrates its 53rd year under operation of the David
Smith family. Take advantage of their winter package that includes
two nights lodging in the 1860's Inn or a cozy cabin, sumptuous
dinners and breakfasts, access to ski/snowshoe their 50 km Nordic
trail system and snowshoe/ski rentals. Highland Lodge's trails

HILDENE'S SKI TOURING CENTER
Hildene is a historic house museum built by Robert Todd
Lincoln as a summer home. In the summer and fall months, we offer
tours of the mansion and gardens. In the winter months, the Carriage

Jay Peak is located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and is

MORSE FARM SKI TOURING CENTER
Visit Vermont's family friendly cross-country touring center,

MOUNTAIN MEADOWS XC SKI AREA

PROSPECT MOUNTAIN CROSS-COUNTRY
SKI CENTER Prospect Mountain Cross-Country Ski Center is
located on Route 9 in Woodford, Vermont, just seven miles east
of Bennington. With the highest base elevation of any ski area
in the state, Prospect Mountain has earned its reputation as
being a "snow magnet." Prospect Mountain has over 35
km of expertly groomed ski trails and offers excellent skiing.
Snowshoe and backcountry skiing are also available. The full-service

Smugglers' Notch Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Adventure Center
is at the center of the Resort Village offering PSIA-Certified
instruction in classical and skate skiing on 32 km of groomed
and track-set trails. On 24 km of snowshoe trails, daily guided
treks and night tours available. Ice skate on a natural outdoor
rink. Plenty of snowshoes, skis, boots and ice skates to outfit
age 6 and older.

STOWE MOUNTAIN RESORT Stowe
Mountain Resort's 35 kilometers of groomed and 40 kilometers
of backcountry trails are the highest in Stowe. Also available
are 5 kilometers of trails specifically for snowshoeing. You
can also ski from the alpine resort trails all the way to the
village Main Street, 8 miles. They're all part of the largest
connected cross-country trail network in the East... a Nordic
skier's dream!

STRATTON MOUNTAIN NORDIC CENTER
Stratton's Nordic Center at the Sun Bowl offers rentals,
lessons and a full service Base Lodge. Featuring classic New
England terrain for beginners and experts, the trail system is
unique and varied with secluded trails winding through hardwood
forests and over streams. Guided snowshoe tours in the National
Forest to the firetower as well as a complete telemark Demo Center
offering lessons and equipment from Atomic, Crispi, Rossignol
and more are available.

THREE STALLION INN SKI TOURING
According to Three Stallion Inn guests, Lippitt's Restaurant
and Morgan's Pub offer, "the best dining experience in Central
Vermont." Inn guests can also enjoy sauna, hot tub and massage
therapy. The Three Stallion Inn Ski Touring Center on 1,300 acres
offers some the most beautiful terrain in Central Vermont. 30
km of groomed trails wander through hardwood and softwood forest,
along the Third Branch of the White River and through high open
meadows with views west toward the Rochester and Roxbury ranges.

TIMBER CREEK XC AREA Timber
Creek, well known as a high quality cross-country ski area, is
located across from Mount Snow and cradled by the Green Mountains.

TRAPP FAMILY LODGE XC SKI CENTER
Trapp Family Lodge Cross-country Ski Center in Stowe, in
operation since 1967, was the first commercial cross-country
ski area in the United States. Located on the spine of the Green
Mountains, they are blessed with good snow conditions all season
long. The center offers 55 km of groomed trails that are interconnected
to the Stowe Mountain Resort, Topnotch and Edson Hill ski touring
centers, making a trail network of 140 km of groomed trails and
another 100 km of back country trails. The center has a complete
retail store with accessories, clothing and equipment, a repair
shop, a ski school and rentals of all kinds. Named one of the

VIKING NORDIC CENTER Viking
Nordic Center is one of the oldest cross-country ski centers
in North America. With 35 km of trails they offer something for
every skier. From the rolling gentle terrain of the inner trail
system to the long loops through the woods of our outer trail
system, beginners and experts can find terrain that will both
please and challenge. After a long day of skiing, guests can
enjoy a hearty cup of soup in our Olympic Café or take
their own lunch for a picnic at the warming hut, overlooking

WILD WINGS SKI TOURING CENTER
Wild Wings Ski Touring Center offers classic skiing for
all abilities on trails that meander through the woods and along
a brook. Visitors often report bobcat, rabbit, deer and sometimes
even moose sightings. Wild Wings' location in a snow pocket means
that there is skiable snow even when the valleys are bare. Rental
and lessons are available.

WOODSTOCK SKI TOURING CENTER
The Woodstock Ski Touring Center provides 60 km of groomed
and marked trails, running over the golf course and into the
Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. Cross-country
Skiing Magazine stated, "Vermont is loaded with Nordic skiing
options, but none more attractive than those in Woodstock."
The Woodstock Country Club building becomes the Woodstock Ski
Touring Center lodge in the winter, offering rentals and a ski
school as well as hot treats to warm the chilled Nordic adventurer.
