Property Description
The Wilburton Inn is a 30 acre hilltop historic estate with extraordinary panoramic mountain views. At the turn of the century this was the largest most prestigious estate in Manchester. The feeling of privacy and gracious living is still present today. The setting is truly romantic. The property now includes the mansion a two bedroom cottage reunion house ski houses and family villas. Rooms are light and spacious. They have an elegant ambiance combined with modern amenities. Many have private decks to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Several villa rooms provide comfortable spaces for families. All lodging is easy walking distance to the mansion. There is a restaurant and bar on site serving fireside dining in the original billiards room and outdoor dining on the terrace overlooking the valley. The menu features local fresh produce some of which are grown in the inns gardens. A full country breakfast is served in the sunny terrace dining room and included in room rates. Breakfast includes delicious inn baked pasties blueberry pancakes and French toast served with genuine local Vermont maple syrup. There are several meeting spaces for small conferences. There is an outdoor pool volleyball extensive sculpture gardens and tennis court on site. The inn seems to be a world apart yet it is only minutes from all the shopping sports and cultural activities of Manchester and the mountains.
