Property Description
Front desk hours of operation are 7 AM 10 PM. The Briarcliff Motel is a classic 1960 motor lodge with 16 large en suite rooms which the new English owners Clare and Richard Proctor are currently reinventing as a cool 21st century bed and breakfast. Our fully renovated contemporary bedrooms have crisp stylish simple decor new beds and bathrooms flat screen TVs and DVD players. We also have a brand new ADA compliant room. A new central space is planned giving guests a place to enjoy a delicious healthy local continental breakfast to just chill out stroll out onto the deck or into our five acres of woodland. The Briarcliff Motel is set back from the road in a rural setting located on Route 7 in Great Barrington very close to the many attractions of the Berkshires. We are just 5 minutes from the Main Streets of Great Barrington and Stockbridge. Tanglewood is under 15 minutes down the road and we are five minutes from Ski Butternut. There are many hiking trails nearby including Monument Mountain which is located right across the street from The Briarcliff Motel. This part of the Berkshires is located just two hours north of Manhattan and under two hours west of Boston. Albany is 45 minutes away making The Briarcliff Motel the ideal base to take advantage of all that this beautiful region has to offer.
