Our quaint, Boothbay Harbor Bed and Breakfast is located on the waterfront and just a two minute walk to all restaurants, shops, galleries, boat rides, lobsters and boutiques. We strive to serve generous breakfast fare, usually starting out with a trip to the local farmers market to procure local eggs, fruit, vegetables and cheese. I love to cook and am always on the lookout for new recipes that showcase Maines delicious seasonal produce and specialty foods. We love Maines blueberries, maple syrup and artisanal cheeses, but our short and sweet growing season also produces a host of other beautiful choices. We even have a small backyard garden where we grow our own tomatoes, squash, beans and more. Another big change is our expanding vegetarian and vegan clientele, so we are constantly trying new recipes to appeal to a variety of palettes. My other passion is gardening, and guests can see how our perennial borders and beds have matured over the years. Often, we share seeds with like-minded gardening enthusiasts, including cleome and Maine lupine, which has been established here for many years. Our biggest challenge now is making sure there is enough room for the established perennials to stay side by side with annual plants and flowers that we love so well.
