22nd Annual Plowing Match

Billings Farm & Museum celebrates its 25th Anniversary Year with the 22nd Annual Plowing Match, when teams of horses and oxen from the region’s farms will once again compete in the farm fields. Special activities will include horse-drawn wagon rides, visitor plowing with the Billings team, ox programs with the farm’s Shorthorn steers, and rope making demonstrations. Jamaica Fiber Festival

The festival, now in its fifth year, is a community street fair celebrating spring, Vermont’s history of merino sheep keeping, community spirit, and fabulous fiber fun.
