North American Telemark Festival at Mad River Glen March 12-13, 2011 – Fayston Free-heelers fly down the mountain at this event, described by organizers as the world’s oldest and largest gathering of telemark skiers. Green Mountain Film Festival March 18-27 & April 1-3, 2011 – Montpelier and St. Johnsbury Independent, documentary and animated films dominate this annual festival.
