Fun, Affordable Baseball Games at Campanelli Stadium, Home of the Brockton Rox ![]() Article and photo by Eric H.. VisitingNewEngland.com As part of the Candian-American Association of Professional Baseball, the Rox are not affiliated with Major League Baseball, but, nevertheless, offer "major league" fun in its spacious, family-oriented stadium. The players are generally highly-skilled, and bust their tails to help their team and please the fans. Adding to the positive experience is K-O, the team's Kangaroo mascot goofing off, being funny and mingling with families all over the stadium. Community events are a staple as evidenced when we attended by a Signature Health Care night where contests like having a gurney race in foul territory between innings made for a wonderfully entertaining night. Then there are the two concession stands with pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, popcorn, peanuts and other junk food staples that always enhance watching a baseball game. A beer garden and picnic pavillion make the eating and drinking atmosphere even that much better! Kids will have a ball at Campanelli Stadium whether during the game or at special program and events. The games feature contests (like throwing a ball through a hole at a far away target or water balloon races), a colorful play area for younger children, and baseball camps for children ages six to 13. With the unusual but much appreciated feature of plenty of parking near the stadium, and tickets ranging from $5.00 (grandstands) to $15.00 ("Super Box Seats"), going to a Brockton Rox game is fan-friendly, a great bargain and a place to be entertained by our beloved game of baseball. As an added bonus, former Boston Red Sox star Bill Buckner is the new manager for the 2011 season! Brockton
