Famous
Bills is a great family restaurant. Nearly 80-years old, this, well,
famous, Greenfield dining landmark keeps its dining mission
simple and direct: offer a wide variety of traditional favorites that
people like, prepare those dishes with the highest quality food and
chef pride, and serve it in a pleasant manner. Famous Bills
has a
large menu, featuring appetizers, soups, steak, lobster, chicken pot
pie, Italian-American dishes, and homemade desserts. We tried a
homemade roast turkey dinner, oversized crab cakes, fish and chips,
clam chowder and a mixed greens salad with a fine Italian dressing, all
ranking up there with the best of our New England family dining
experiences.
Very
few places have made us feel totally at home
like Famous Bills. From host to waitress to co-owner, each treated us
like family. It almost made us want to move to Greenfield that night!
We highly recommend Famous Bills as a family-oriented restaurant that
people of all ages will love.
