England travel article with your friends...
Noon Hill Grill, in Medfield, Mass., has a nice
location within a former train station and along
the food and drinks selection beg one to ask: why drive all the way
into
Boston when there are great dining choices like this in the suburbs?
The menu is diverse and comes up with real winners like the horseradish
encrusted salmon, turkey burger on a pretzel roll, fish tacos, burger
with cheddar, bacon, cajun mayo and onion straws, pesto chicken
sandwich, steak tips, homemade beef chili, New England clam chowder,
and fried calamari. Noon Hill Grill also features an excellent
selection of salads, perhaps the best being the strawberry salad with
goat cheese, walnuts over mixed greens and tossed in a lemon poppy
vinaigrette topped with balsamic reduction drizzle. Servings are
generally huge, but more, importantly delivered with high quality and
taste. The bar looks great
with an extensive drinks list and the dining room is very comfortable.
With a skilled chef, good management and well chosen hosts and servers,
everything seems to work well at Noon Hill Grill and should be
considered a go-to place for date nights, dining out with the family,
or
when taking friends or family from out of town to lunch or dinner. It's
that good and without the need to drive into the big city! Noon Hill Grill is located at 530 Main
St., Medfield. Tel. 508-359-9155.
