Visiting Bavarian Christmas Village Year-Round at Yankee Candle, South Deerfield Mass.

Share this New England story on

Most public Christmas displays can’t hold a candle to Bavarian Village at the Yankee Candle flagship store in South Deerfield, Mass.

This colorful, charming year-round German style Christmas village features Mr. and Mrs. Claus, snow falling from the ceiling, The Black Forest with its impressive Christmas ornament and collectibles displays, and the Nutcracker Castle with Santa’s Workshop and Yankee Candle Toys. It’s really an astounding site, perhaps the most visually pleasing we have seen in New England.

Admission to Bavarian Village is free — what a nice gift to kids of all ages!

Yankee Candle stands as one of New England’s biggest travel attractions with the 90,000 sq. ft. store reportedly bringing in three million visitors a year. We suggest logging to the Yankee Candle Deerfield web site to check out all the items for sale here, attractions and events (including Santa’s annual holiday gala!) and store hours.

The Yankee Candle flagship store is located at 22 Greenfield Rd in South Deerfield MA. Tel. (877) 636-7707
