Plan Your Wedding, Wedding
Reception and Rehearsal Dinner Venue in Norfolk County, MA
by Eric H. First of all, we want to congratulate you on getting married and that you have many years of blissful happiness! We wrote this article, speculating that someone from Norfolk County in Massachusetts (near Boston, southwest) will be getting married. We know this was a bold assumption by us, but it's OK as we strive to be visionaries at VisitingNewEngland.com. All kidding aside, we're excited for you and thought it would be a great idea to list some highly regarded wedding and wedding reception sites (as well as for rehearsal dinners). Norfolk County has many places that we feel would be a good match for your good match as future husband and wife. With that said, always thoroughly research a wedding reception site before putting down your hard-earned money (or someone else's). What might be someone's dream wedding reception site might not be for another couple. Most importantly, go together to the reception site and don't put down a deposit until you are both happy with the decision. In some regards, this type of planning is a vital precursor to the communication skills you'll be employing on a daily basis as a married couple. Now, without further lecturing, we present you a few choices for your Norfolk County wedding and wedding reception: Lake Pearl Luciano's, Wrentham -- Beautiful lake view setting on Lake Pearl in the quaint town of Wrentham. It's a dream-like setting where the staff can accomodate 50 to 550 guests for wedding ceremonies, receptions and rehearsal dinners. The grand ballroom is really attractive (and quite large), while rooms like the Tree Top offer beautiful lake views. There's even an outdoor tent to celebrate your special day right by the beach at Lake Pearl! Lakeview Pavillion, Foxborough -- Nestled in the woods on a rural road in Foxboro, the Lakeview Pavillion is located on a scenic lake that makes for a perfect getaway before your perfect honeymoon getaway. You'd never know you were in a Boston suburb here -- it seems more like New Hampshire, in the best rural sense. Although located in a rustic location, the Lakeview Pavillion provides an upscale wedding and reception site for you and your loved ones. Coachmen's Lodge, Bellingham -- It seems like the Coachmen's Lodge has been around since the days of the Knights of the Roundtable. This classic, traditional old-school restaurant and events site can accomodate 20 to 240 guests for your wedding and reception -- as well as wedding rehearsal -- and features a beautiful, landscaped outdoor gazebo. Christina's Function Facilities, Foxborough - Christina's is a very impressive events facilities. Although I have only been here for a food event, I can attest to the attractiveness of this facility. The sparkling chandeliers and elegant design in the Grand Ballroom would indeed make for a splendid traditional wedding setting. Christina's also features a lanscaped outdoor veranda. Lafayette House, Foxborough -- Built in 1784, this classic white Colonial House is better known as a great "New England" restaurant but also can accommodate 15 to 250 guests for your wedding reception, bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. The ambiance here is really special, as you feel like you're dining in another era. It is rumored that George Washingto once stayed here, but it was unlikely that he danced with Martha to "We've Only Just Begun," by the Carpenters.
