Beautiful wedding, baby, birthday, religious and dessert cakes of any size, biscotti, cheesecakes, cupcakes, cannolis, cream puffs, eclairs, scones, tiramisu and whoopie pies are just the beginning of this baked goods wonderland located in a small downtown Bridgewater storefront. Bakers create their magic on the premises and the flow of customer traffic seems to rival the considerable rush hour jam off the center's circular town common. It's clearly much more pleasant inside, though, with a staff that is very helpful, personable, and full of expertise. This sweet shop will remind you of the old-fashioned bakeries that most downtowns used to have before people started to depend on the supermarket bakeries. Just Desserts will make you wonder why we ever strayed from a quality local bakery in the first place. These "hidden" bakeries are, indeed, a national treasure and this Bridgewater business is one of the "creams of the crop!" If you feel that a cupcake is too small for your appetite -- and a cake is just too much -- try the cake bombs. Substantial enough for a snack fix, Just Desserts offers chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, vanilla cake with chocolate mousse, chocolate cake with raspberry mousse (pictured above) and vanilla cake with raspberry mousse. Phenomenal! Just Desserts has a few seats for dining in, but most people come here to take out. In true authentic bakery form, Just Desserts has the creativity and talent skill to create a cake for any type of occasion. Just ask! Every town should have a bakery like Just Desserts.
