Having a "Field Day" at The Hall at Patriot Place in Foxboro, Mass.
The Hall at Patriot Place photo, Foxboro, Mass.

Article and photo by Eric H.
The Hall at Patriot Place in Foxboro, Mass., wonderfully honors the New England Patriots and football in New England through an incredible playbook of entertaining and educational state-of-the-art video and audio mediums, fan-friendly exhibitions and memorabilia.
Constructed in an expeditious fashion that would make the ABC Extreme Home Makeover crew look like planners for the Big Dig, The Hall at Patriot Place looks like a "veteran" museum rather than a "rookie." The presentations resonate timelessly through the Patriot's good and bad times since its inception in 1959 in the American Football League. The details within each and every layout, ultimately, create an unforgettable experience for the fans of our home team as well as football fans, in general.

The sleek and modern angular exterior and interior building design gives way to displays of traditionally rich football heritage, so deeply embedded into the dedicated and loyal New England sports culture. The 45-foot wide panoramic projection screen features an amazing, larger-than-life video that honors the fans, the team and the New England region. Huge ceiling projections screens in the Patriots
United Grand Hall add a visually stunning dimension to the highly skilled and accomplished presence of Patriots Hall of Fame inductees. Touch screens bring back memorable Patriots moments, while other exhibitions educate and entertain on not only New England Patriots history but all the wonderful moments in New England football. This all-inclusive regional football display of presentations includes state public high school football champions in each New England state, with displays of each school's football jersey, as well as regional prep school and Pop Warner champions.

The interactive presentations stands out, also, where visitors have the opportunity to learn the playbook from Bill Belicheck, go inside a huddle to hear the plays called by Tom Brady, and compare your vertical jump to Laurence Maroney's! It's also thrilling -- and sure to induce goosebumps for many -- to see the three Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophies recently earned by the Patriots (with confetti raining down upon you through the experience!).

An on-the-premises gift shop follows The Hall's overall excellence, offering seemingly a football field-size area of clothing, gifts, collectibles and souvenirs. It's hard to know where to start here and quite a challenge to budget properly, given all the fantastic merchandise.
Presented by the Raytheon Company -- and with the Kraft family (owners of the Patriots), once again, extending its grand vision for optimal football enjoyment amongst fans in New England -- the Hall at Patriot Place will certainly not leave you standing on the sidelines. The Hall at Patriot Place brings you right into the game where one can feel like a starting player in the entertaining, educational and impassioned world of New England Patriots nation. It's really the ultimate expression in preserving New England Patriots history, and we can hardly wait to return!
