Ask a local where to eat in Woburn and the answer will often be "The Restaurant!" This Greek-American style cafeteria at 489 Main St. (Tel. 781-935-2511) turns out an amazing variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, our favorite being the chocolate chip panckaes, baked lamb dinner, Greek salad with grilled chicken, moussaka, baked mac and cheese, oven roasted turkey dinner and egg lemon soup. Peter, the owner, energetically works behind the counter from morning until night, knowing many of his customers by name and making sure you get your meal quickly. He is also a credit to the community, having offered free Thanksgiving meals to those in need. The Restaurant is a model of how a restaurant should be run -- and the food is so darn good!
