This turtle doesn't move slowly when it comes to delivering delicious food

The relatively new Tan Turtle Tavern came out of virtually

nowhere to become the restaurant of choice in Northeast Harbor. Fresh lobster, lobster rolls filled with one-and-a-half lbs. of lobster,  near-perfect New England clam chowder, steaks that rival renowned urban steakhouses, salads with fresh greens, and a friendly, casual atmosphere will have us coming back many times. The Tan Turtle Tavern seems almost too good to be true: they seem to do everything right, including having a waitstaff with friendly personalities, offering good value for the money with huge portions of food, and comfortable surroundings, including a bar and quiet indoor porch-like back room. They even make their own potato chips!  We couldn't ask for anything more when dining on a vacation than the total package offered at the Tan Turtle Tavern.
